Application & Wear
How do I apply AERI nails?
For the best salon experience, push and clean cuticle. File the surface of your nails gently to allow better adhesion. Clean your nails with the included alcohol wipes.
Apply the sticky tabs that are closest to the size of your nails at 1mm from your cuticle.
Place the bottom end of AERI nails at a 45° angle from the bottom of your nails, make sure AERI nail is in the position to cover both sides of your real nail, then press AERI nail down and hold firmly for 10 seconds.
Avoid washing hands for 3 hours for longest sticky tabs wear time.
How long do AERI nails last?
Depending on the application and care, AERI nails typically last 2 to 6 weeks, and can be removed and re-applied multiple times.
AERI sticky tabs stay on for at least 7 days if applied following instructions and worn with care.
Are AERI nails reusable?
Yes. AERI nails are designed to be reusable when used and removed gently, and stored properly after wear.
Do AERI nails chip?
AERI nails are made with Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), or known as acrylic glass, to provide superior durability. Due to its thin and lightweight nature, we still recommend care while usage, like you would do with your salon gel nails.
Does color come off AERI nails?
AERI nails are made with salon techniques. The color may come off when the nails are scratched, especially on the tips, which is not different from your salon done nails.
Will the nails damage my natural nails?
No. When applied and removed correctly, AERI nails are gentle on natural nails and require no glue, filing, or harsh removal process.
Are the sticky tabs safe and non-toxic?
Yes. AERI sticky tabs are made with high-quality, non-toxic materials.
Can I use glue to apply AERI Nails?
Yes. While AERI does not provide nail glue, you may use nail glue instead of sticky tabs to apply AERI Nails for a more long lasting wear. Depending on the nail glue you use, AERI Nails may not retain the best reusability if the glue leaves residue on AERI nails, or if there is damage to AERI nails during removal.
Can I file AERI Nails to my favorite shape?
Yes. AERI nails are designed to allow filing on the tip end. The default shape of AERI nails are medium round for most styles, which allow you to file them to square round or almond shapes as desired.
Can I type and do daily tasks comfortably with AERI nails?
Yes. AERI lengths are carefully designed to elongate the fingers while remaining practical for typing and everyday activities.
Are AERI nails waterproof?
AERI nails can handle normal hand washing and daily activities including swimming, sauna, chores and cooking. Excessive soaking or prolonged water exposure, however, will reduce the adhesion of the sticky tabs. In that case, remove AERI nails and re-apply following the whole application instructions.
Can I shower or wash my hair while wearing them?
Yes. AERI nails are designed to endure daily activities. Avoiding long exposure to hot water will help maintain stronger adhesion. AERI sticky tabs typically last at least 7 days if applied properly.
How do I remove AERI nails safely?
Use the included wooden stick to gently lift the nail from the sides. Soaking hands in warm water can help loosen the adhesive, especially if you are removing the nails after a short wear (3 days or less).
Sizing & Fit
How do I choose the right nail size?
Each AERI set is designed with carefully balanced sizing to fit most nail shapes comfortably and naturally. Slim is designed for narrower nail beds and more slender fingers, while Regular offers a slightly wider fit for average to broader nail beds. For the best fit, measure the widest part of your natural thumbnail — Slim fits approximately 15mm thumb widths, while Regular fits approximately 16mm. See our Size Chart for more details.
What if my nail sizes are between two sizes?
We recommend choosing the slightly smaller size for a more natural fit and avoid debris accumulating between your nails and AERI nails.
What nail shape and length does AERI use?
AERI nails come in wearable medium lengths and round tips that visually elongate the fingers with an elegant aesthetic.
Will the nail length get in the way of daily activities?
The length of AERI nails is intentionally balanced to feel elegant without interfering with daily routines.

Are AERI nails really hand-painted?
Yes. Every AERI set is individually hand-finished using a 5-step salon gel techniques, from prep, base coat application, color application, strengthening layer to top coat application. AERI nails give a glossy, translucent and reflective finish, exactly like how your nails are done in a premium nail salon.
What makes AERI different from mass-produced press-on nails?
AERI nails are created with multiple layers — base, color, strengthening layers, and top coat — which creates depth, softness, and a glass-like reflection. Mass-produced press-ons often look flatter because the color is printed or sprayed directly onto plastic.
What materials are used in AERI nails?
AERI nails are crafted using durable PMMA nail tips and salon-style gel layers for a lightweight yet strong finish.
Are the nails thick or heavy to wear?
No. AERI nails are designed to feel lightweight, comfortable, and natural for extended wear.
Will the colors match different outfits and skin tones?
Yes. AERI shades are thoughtfully curated to pair effortlessly with a wide range of styles, wardrobes, and skin tones.
Do the chrome and cat-eye styles fade over time?
With proper care, the finishes remain glossy and reflective throughout normal wear.

Can I reshape or file the nails?
Yes. AERI nails can be gently filed for minor shape or length adjustments. Just like your salon done nails, filing the nails may cause color to come off more easily at the filing area.
Can I wear AERI nails every day?
Yes. AERI nails are designed for comfortable everyday wear while maintaining an elevated salon-inspired look.
What should I avoid while wearing press-on nails?
Avoid scratching AERI nails on hard objects and using the nails as tools (like opening soda cans) so you can reuse them multiple times. Minimize prolonged soaking in hot water to extend wear time of the sticky tabs.
